Scar Relaxation

Scar relaxation is an important aspect to consider in the field of paramedical tattooing, especially when working with scars that are tight or have caused restricted movement. This technique involves using methods to soften and relax the scar tissue, making it more pliable and less noticeable. It's particularly beneficial before tattooing, as it can improve the final appearance and feel of the scar.

The aim of scar relaxation is to smooth, lighten, and flatten thick, fibrous bands of tissue in contracted burns and scars. Custom sterile needle groups are used to soften the toughness and texture of the scar or burn, and may increase range of motion, generate new skin cells and enhance blood supply.

Keep in mind, while scar relaxation can be highly beneficial, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any treatment, especially if the scars are a result of recent surgery or if there are any underlying health conditions. As a paramedical tattoo artist, I focus on the artistic and technical aspects post-relaxation, ensuring the tattooing complements your skin's texture and tone for the most natural and aesthetically pleasing results.
